Making Initial Contact
Get in touch with us via phone or email and we’ll step you through our process and approach for the design and construction of your home. It’s an opportunity for each of us to assess whether we’re a mutual fit and interested in working together.
Your First No Obligation Consultation
Your first scheduled appointment with us is obligation and cost free. It is an opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to share your ideas, hopes and dreams of your new home with us. We encourage you to bring in an project scrapbooks or show us your Pinterest boards, so we can get a good understanding of your dream home. Remember, it’s not all about aesthetics, we will also talk to you about how you want to live in your new home and how your home can help you in your day-to-day life. But don’t worry, we don’t expect you to have all the answers at this stage.
Once, we’ve explored your specific needs and priorities in detail and gained an idea of what you would like to invest, we will then assess the viability of the project and whether we will be able to deliver on these requests.
Investigation, Concept Plans & Quote
The next step will see us engage various resources within our business to develop the detailed plans, designs and quote for your build. This extensive process includes a wide range of investigative services, including:
Detailed Plans & Specifications
Investigating each element is critical to ensure you know exactly what you’re getting and exactly how much it will cost before the project commences. It’s also the exciting bit where you will see your new home come to life, well, at least on the computer. You’ll be able to visualise your new home and assess it from all angles with our 3D design images.
Once, your concept plans and quote are complete we’ll present these to you and discuss any required changes.
Council Submissions & Building Approvals
We take care of all the paperwork for you and liaise with your local council to arrange all necessary planning approvals and building licences. This includes your contract drawings and contract package, which will be explained to you in detail. At this stage it is important that you are entirely comfortable with every element of the design and concept plan before we prepare the final contract for council submission.
Interior Design & Colour Consult
This is one of the most exciting appointments throughout your custom build journey, where you will choose the colours and finishes that reflect your personal style. Our qualified interior designer will walk you through the various selections, starting with the outside of your new home, including the roof, bricks, cladding and windows.
Following is the colour selection for your interior, including your wall paint, flooring and other features. We’ll offer our advice and expertise, helping you to bring the best of your ideas together seamlessly. You’ll be able to ask questions at all times and have a lot of fun selecting your colours and finishes.
You will now be introduced to your construction manager, who will oversee the entire construction of your home. We’ll schedule regular on-site meetings, so you stay fully informed of the progress of your new home and can discuss any questions you may have.
